Guides and Trainings

Guides and trainings are available for Northeastern community members to learn more about supporting student mental health.

Mental Health Guides

The Supporting Student Mental Health Guides were created by the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, University Health and Counseling Services, and the Office of Prevention and Education at Northeastern in collaboration with Northeastern Active Minds.

Supporting Student Mental Health Trainings

The Supporting Student Mental Health training provides faculty and staff with an opportunity to discuss how mental health is impacting students. Faculty and staff will leave the session with concrete skills on: recognizing students in distress, responding to students using motivational interviewing techniques, and referring students to appropriate Northeastern resources. For questions about upcoming trainings, email open@northeastern.edu.
